Braodband ISP recomendation
If your ISP carries this newsgroup also, then you might not even notice that the server has been changed, and your message would have been posted to the ISP. When I reset, I limit to 600, download the group again, use Catch-Up to mark older headers as read, and then I remove the download limit.

Goddam ISP
People in general, especially in non-formal settings, love to sound like they know what they're talking about when they haven't the faintest idea. That said, my guess is that Videotron lied to you. The reason I say that is that my ISP has download limits that far exceed Videotron's. Richard.

ISP Download limit - keeping on the good side
My ISP doesn't provide newsgroups, so I need a new service. Preferably free, but I can deal with low cost if necessary - the lower the better. I don't need binaries, so a low download limit shouldn't be a problem. I know a lot of people don't read Google Groups posts, so that's not a viable option.
